Choose the starting product.

Shortlist an existing SST format and identify what you want to change. A logo position, new color allocation, retail sleeve and newly tooled shape are different development requests with different approval work.

Ask for a usable template.

Send the intended graphic and position. The production template follows the selected surface or measured pack. Confirm printable boundaries, orientation and excluded areas before supplying final artwork.

Chenghai development capacity on your side.

New molds, custom colors, pad and full-color printing, thermoformed trays and color boxes are all produced within the same Chenghai manufacturing cluster and coordinated by a desk with more than 20 years of export experience.

Price each development layer.

Request blank-item cost, print setup, decoration, packaging, assembly and any tooling separately. State quantity per artwork version so minimums and fixed charges can be compared.

Approve the finished presentation.

Review the toy, print and pack together. For a series, include the assortment schedule; for a calendar, check every cavity. Accept the final specification before agreeing to production dates.

Four levels of customization, priced separately.

Level one is a stock item with a printed logo; two adds custom colors or a matched color story; three changes packaging — sleeve, blister, color box, display; four is a newly tooled shape or full ODM product. Requesting each layer separately is what keeps an “OEM quote” comparable instead of a blended number nobody can audit.

New tooling and sampling, demystified.

A new shape typically moves from reference images to a CAD or printed prototype, then a T0/T1 sample, revisions, a decorated packed sample and finally mass production. Tooling cost, sample charges and lead time are agreed up front, and the approved sample becomes the legal reference for the run.

Protecting your design and artwork.

Files you submit are kept private and stored outside the public site; supply artwork you have the rights to, and we can use neutral documentation and packing for distributors. Version every revision so a later change never silently replaces the approved specification.
